Eligibility & Important Rules
You do not need to drop PPACE membership to subscribe here. However, please note PPACE By-Law 3.10:
“If a Member brings in another Representative (outside of LVPPACE) to a matter in which he/she is entitled to representation by the Association, then LVPPACE’s responsibility has been fulfilled. LVPPACE must be the primary for representation or the Member foregoes any further representation from LVPPACE in that specific matter.”
- Primary representation: If you elect to have us (outside of LVPPACE) represent you on a matter where PPACE would otherwise be entitled to represent you, PPACE may consider its responsibility fulfilled for that specific matter per By-Law 3.10.
- Continuous subscription: To remain entitled to representation by us, you must be an active subscriber on the date of the incident under investigation and remain an active subscriber through the conclusion of the matter.
- Scope: Representation scope and exclusions will be outlined at enrollment; administrative actions and internal investigations are generally included.
Common Questions
Do I need to cancel PPACE to join?
No. You can remain a PPACE member. If you designate us to represent you in a specific matter, PPACE’s responsibility may be considered fulfilled for that matter per their By-Law 3.10.
When does coverage apply?
You must be subscribed on the date of the incident under investigation and maintain an active subscription until the matter concludes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel future billing anytime. Cancellation during an active matter ends eligibility for continued representation from the end of the current renewal period. There are no refunds for cancellations in the middle of a subscription period. When you cancel, your coverage will remain until the end of billing period.
